A Little About Me
I’m a clinical social worker practicing under the supervision of Dr. Hiroshi Sasaki, Ph.D in California and a graduate of the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs (MSW). I provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults, with experience supporting individuals and families navigating trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders, neurodivergence, personality-related concerns, and co-occurring substance use and PTSD.
My clinical background includes work in community mental health, where I’ve supported children, youth, and families involved with child welfare systems, as well as adults navigating complex clinical and psychosocial stressors. I have experience working with clients from diverse cultural, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds and approach therapy with cultural humility, curiosity, and respect for each person’s lived experience.
My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and evidence-based. I draw from CBT- and DBT-informed strategies, trauma-focused interventions (including TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, play-based interventions, and attachment-based principles, tailoring treatment to each client’s needs, developmental stage, and goals.
People come to therapy for many different reasons, and you don’t need a diagnosis or a clear label to begin. In addition to clinical concerns, I work with clients navigating life transitions, relationship conflict, parenting stress, identity exploration, and periods of heightened emotional or situational stress.
I strive to offer a steady, supportive therapy experience that feels grounded, attuned, and collaborative. I aim to create a space where clients feel understood and supported as they explore challenges, build insight, and strengthen emotional regulation at a pace that feels right for them.
